Join us for the March 2010 packing day and help us send Girl Scout Cookies to our Marines in combat zones.
Our next Packing Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 27, 2010. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. We'll have coffee and breakfast pastries. For organizational purposes we're asking ALL volunteers for the day to arrive by 8:30. Packing Day Volunteers must be present for their team meetings that will begin at 8:45 a.m.
We will be mailing 1,100 care packages this Packing Day to deployed Marines and we need your help to accomplish our goal! We have loads of donated items that need to be sorted as well. Anybody that can come in before the Packing Day to help sort items would be most helpful. Any person(s) with a truck willing to haul our abundant amount of cardboard to the recycling center would be very helpful and very much appreciated.
We could use experienced volunteers on Friday, March, 26 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. as well to print and prepare customs forms, sort donated items and do small projects in the warehouse. If you are able to be here that day, please contact the office at 573-449-2003 or 2004 to let us know. Please remember, if you need a hotel room at $59 per night with Courtyard Marriott right up the road, you need to contact our office directly and we will place the reservation for you. The rooms go quickly, so call early!
One final note: All items from our New EGA Store will be available for sale on the Packing Day. We have lots of Polo Shirts with the EGA emblem, lapel pins, scrap booking items, automobile decals and much more.
Thank you for all of your support and we hope to see you on Saturday, March 27, 2010!
