Our October 31st Packing Day went off without a hitch! The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for our new Marine Parents Corporate office was held after the care packages were shipped out.
We had an estimated 125 volunteers show up to help pack the 1,051 care packages! After the care packages were packed and shipped, lunch was provided by Lonnie Ray's out of Harrisburg, MO and it was delicious. The ribbon cutting ceremony took place after lunch with General Kay giving a beautiful speech.
We'd like to thank all of the volunteers who came out to help pack the care packages and who stuck around afterwards for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Afterall, the new office and warehouse is for ALL of Marine Parent's volunteers!
