We have five Saturdays a year that we pack boxes to ship to the Marines and we'd love for you to join us! See the box to the right for upcoming pack dates. We pack the boxes from our corporate office in Columbia, Missouri. Please let us know via a phone call, email, or the message boards if you plan to attend.
The packing days are a whole lot of fun and a great opportunity to Connect & Share™ with other families. The number of volunteers increases each time we pack. August 2008 was a record-breaking 105 people helping to pack the 1000 care packages for the Marines overseas in combat zones. For photo slide shows, click the left link under "OUR WORK".
Lunch on Saturday
We provide lunch on Saturday and are always looking for great idea for lunches and area restaurants to donate the next lunch for our volunteers. If you are a local business and would like to help us with that, please contact us.
Hotel Accomodations
We have limited hotel rooms available a mile from the office for folks coming from long distances. The Courtyard Marriott gives us a great rate, but you have to go through our office to get the discounted rate. Reserve early please.
The Friday Before
We need some experienced volunteers to help with preparations on the Friday before. If you have packed with us before and are interested in helping out on Friday, prior to packing day on Saturday, please call the office to let us know.
