Eagle Scout Project to Support Our Troops
We've worked with over a dozen young men in the past three years who chose The Care Package Project™ as their Eagle Scout Project to support our troops.
Each young man has designed his own program, then worked with us to get the products to our warehouse for shipping overseas to the Marines. We encourage you to visit the link in the beige box on the right titled "Drives and Fundraisers" to learn more about how to set up a care package drive with us. You may or may not want to use our posters and brochures. Be sure to visit the link "Writing Letters" as well; the Marines love to hear from young people.
If you're thinking about a way to support our troops as your Eagle Scout Project, we'd love to work with you. Contact us at the office to get started, or complete the online form under "Donate Items" and be sure to mention that this is for your Eagle Scout Project.

Thank You to Our Eagle Scouts!
Greg from Georgia, Boy Scout Troop 2000
Completed May, 2009
Greg contacted Marine Parents in February to work with us on his Eagle Scout Project. He held a drive from April 27th to May 11th to collect items to include in the care packages we send overseas to deployed Marines. Greg's initial plan was to collect 20 specific items to make up 100 care packages but his collection drive was so successful that he ended up collecting approximately 42 boxes of items, enough to make up more than 200 care packages consisting of 31 items each with an additional 800+ items to include in other care packages. Thank you for choosing Marine Parents to work with on your Eagle Scout Project!
Zach from Minnesota, Boy Scout Troop 3290
Completed July, 2009
Zach contacted us in March of 2009 with a proposal to collect items to be included in care packages as part of The Care Package Project. As part of his Eagle Scout Project he collected items through the use of door to door collection bags. His goal for the project was to collect enough materials to supply around 50 care packages. Zach sent us 13 large boxes filled with enough material to supply almost 100 care packages! Thank you for all of your help and Congratulations Zach!
